This is an add-on to the Rail-EZ Bottom Bracket. 

The extension arm was designed for a setup where the bottom half of your pole is shorter or you want to elevate the crank mechanism.

It gives you more freedom to raise the umbrella height while still having the bottom of the pole supported.
